Rabbits have always been creatures that fascinated me, before we had kids I had a blue crossbred doe called Skye, and a Jersey Wooly buck, called Dobby. They were lovely pets! When we started getting serious about our self sustainable journey Rabbits seemed a natural addition to our little farm. We started our journey with a truly South African meat breed, the SA Phendula, but quickly fell in love with the Rex breed when we met her bunnies. Such gentle natures and plush coats!
We are currently breeding both breeds with the most lovely parent stock. Our Phendulas are Agouti, Steel and Quad steel colours and are producing the most phenomenal meat rabbits! With our rexes, our focus is predominantly on Standard sized rexes in broken, tricolour and harlequin markings.
Our aim is, and will always be, to breed healthy and friendly bunnies that meet and exceed the breed standard, to ensure that the breeds are always improved.
